Utah’s One Thing: Steve Jerman, Utah Cheese Awards founder

Standard

Since we started our show in 2016, we have been asking our guests at the end of every New Utah interview, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Episode 149 we sat down with Utah Cheese Awards and Salt Lake Cheese Festival founder, Steve Jerman. We asked him what he would have someone visiting Utah should do and he told us that they should head to Gilgal Sculptural Gardens! We’ve only had two other guests that have mentioned this hidden gem in Salt Lake City. He said it is so cool! Steve thinks all great artists like to see the weird and pristine, and that it is quite a production to build brick pants!

We would like to add, there are plenty opportunities to enjoy our mountain ranges from hiking, camping, biking, fishing, etc. Utah.com and Alltrails.com have some great resources for Utah’s mountains.
