Utah’s One Thing: Curry Stegen, Passion 4 Paranormal Podcast

Standard

Since we started our show in 2016, we have been asking our guests at the end of every New Utah interview, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Paranormal podcaster Curry Stegen, of Passion 4 Paranormal, joined us for episode 155 to talk about being a podcaster and his paranormal experiences. Curry told us the one thing he would have do while visiting Utah, before they left would be to visit our national parks, especially Moab and Canyonlands. He said it is some of the most unique scenery in the world. *and we trust Curry because he’s military and has traveled the world!*

At the end of every New Utah Podcast interview we like to ask our guests, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Episode 78 we had “no regerts” with local Utah tattoo artist Sam Goodwin of Murder Crows Tattoo in North Sale Lake! Sam said that his one thing someone should do before leaving Utah is to go to Temple Square… of course. Then he told us that he and his wife love to hike. We loved his suggestion of finding a trail that goes some where! You know, a lake, a river, just something at the end to enjoy! Utah.com always has great lists and their hiking list will get you all over Utah. Click HERE to find more info or click on the picture.

Victor Sine stopped by to talk cosplay, comic con, and fandom with us for episode 65. Victor hasn’t been in Utah too long. He said that the one thing he would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving would to go to any of Utah’s seasonal festivals.

Victor also said that Utah if full of much more culture than people give it credit for.

Visit Utah has a list of annual events.

Utah.com has a rolling list of events up and down Utah.

UtahValley.com has a calendar of events for the Utah Valley (Lehi to Santaquin)

Standard

At the end of every New Utah interview we like to ask our guests, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

We were super excited to finally be joined by the busiest man on the planet for episode 57. We actually didn’t think there was anyone busier than our own Jessica, til we met Richie Steadman! Richie had two things that people must do before leaving Utah. Richie said that if you’re visiting Utah, take time to talk to someone who is LDS (aka Mormon) because it will give a better understanding of the culture. He also said head south and hike the Narrows in Zion and the Delicate Arch.
