Utah’s One Thing: Sim Gill, Salt Lake County DA. Part 1

Standard

Since we started our show in 2016, we have been asking our guests at the end of every New Utah interview, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Episode 126 we had the fortunate opportunity to sit down with Salt Lake County’s District Attorney, Sim Gill. Sim said, “we are lucky to have access to the most beautiful mountain trails.” Mr. Gill said it is so easy to lose yourself in nature. There is an abundance of natural beauty. We have attached a link to ALLTRAILS. They also have a app that lets you rate, see the difficulty, and photos of trails throughout Utah!

Utah’s One Thing: Utah Liquor Lawyer Tanner Strickland Lenart

Standard

At the end of every New Utah interview we like to ask our guests, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Utah Liquor Lawyer, Tanner Strickland Lenart, joined us for episode 96! What would someone who knows the Utah restaurant and bar scene suggest for someone visiting Utah who only needed one thing to do? Well, Tanner said that the one thing someone visiting Utah should do before leaving is to get up into the mountains regardless of the season! You heard that folks head to the hills! Tanner said to make sure to experience side trails when you go hiking. We found a great resource for Utah trails on alltrails.com They offer a map that zooms in and out on hikes around the state. This map also gives the difficulty level of the hike, searchable options by city, printable maps, etc. Once you are on these trails then find your side trails! *but be respectful of the nature you’re walking through and be prepared*
