At the end of every New Utah interview we like to ask our guests, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Episode 44 Jen Buckallew, of Poutine Your Mouth, has traveled the country and she said that the one thing someone visiting Utah needs to do is get into the mountains. Specifically the Cottonwoods. Big and Little Cottonwood offer plenty of trails, lakes, and restaurants.

Utah’s One Thing: David J. West

At the end of every New Utah interview we like to ask our guests, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Utah Author David J West of episode 34 suggested that the one thing someone should do before leaving Utah is just to drive to the middle of nowhere. We definitely have a lot of  “nowhere” here in Utah.  Another great spot that David suggested is the San Rafael Swell located in the south east part Utah.
