Utah’s One Thing: Megan Kennedy, Author/Educator

Standard

Since we started our show in 2016, we have been asking our guests at the end of every New Utah interview, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Before she moved out of Utah, we had a chance to sit down with author/photographer/religious educator, Megan Kennedy, for episode 151. Megan told us that the one thing someone should do while visiting Utah is to make it to the mountains. Megan said it’s the hills, the clean air… that our forests are so unique!

VisitUtah.com breaks down each Utah mountain range!

Since we started our show in 2016, we have been asking our guests at the end of every New Utah interview, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Episode 133 had us all drooling with guest, Thayne Garner, one of the founders of Last Course Dessert Studio. We asked Thayne what his one thing someone would have to do while visiting Utah would be, and he said he has seen mountains all over the country/world and his words were, “man I love the mountains! Nothing touches the mountains in Utah.” Did you know there are 80 mountain ranges in Utah? According to VisitUtah.com 85% of Utah’s residents live within 15 miles of the Wasatch Mountains!
