Episode 251 Libertarian King for a Day

Standard

Episode 251 we had Paul Duane, Utah’s own Soul Anarchist, join us for a full episode! His name may ring a bell because he joined us for episode 211 last June to talk about a COVID photography project with Steve Conlin, or perhaps you have participated in one of his Sunday night burns. We wanted to deep dive a little bit more into Paul’s world. Since this episode is a plethora of topics, and Paul joined us for the whole show, his podcast and Libertarian journey is threaded throughout.

A reminder, pheromone’s are the best, porn is still a problem in Utah even with COVID, and South Park always gets it right.

Paul has been a local podcaster/presenter for 6+ years. After doing a stage show he decided to move his format to podcasting. Whether the topic is science, nylons, philosophy, or motorcycles they are full of heart and soul. We took a small dive into how Paul found Libertarian-ism and what it means to him. He says he isn’t a crazy Libertarian, phew… and we are okay with the day he is Libertarian king. Yea, you’ll have to listen for that one. Paul said he’s always loved personal freedom and he believes that everyone should have “control over their own destiny.” We see nothing wrong with that. He also mentioned it’s really about living life on your own terms, without encroaching on others, it’s very contextual.

Paul is also a local photographer, which we talked about in episode 211. You can find his work at www.soulanarchist.com Follow him on Instagram and Facebook for funny quips and his Sunday night burn. (kick those algorithms in the ass). Paul is also working on a book, Get Naked, which he has outlined on his website and you can follow along with the progress. We look forward to seeing this book come to fruition!

Paul told us the thing that is the most unique thing to Utah that he has noticed is the oddly high concentration of brilliant people that are here!
