Utah’s One Thing: Jude Higgins, Death Doula, founder of HELD

Standard

Since we started our show in 2016, we have been asking our guests at the end of every New Utah interview, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Death Doula, Jude Higgins, joined us on episode 163. Jude told us the one thing you should do while visiting Utah is to go to a death café! Jude said she loves so many things about Utah. She loves the brewers, distillers, and cidery’s. She loves that Utah was the second state that allowed gay marriage and Utah is progressing. Of course, Jude loves Sundance and Capitol Reef too! She is like Dave Cawley and didn’t want to share here favorite part because she wants to keep it sacred!

Utah’s One Thing: Alan Scott of WaterPocket Distillery

Standard

At the end of every New Utah interview we like to ask our guests, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Episode 51 Alan Scott, of the brand new and shiny Waterpocket Distillery, told us that the one thing that people should do when visiting Utah is to head to Capitol Reef to his business name sake, the Waterpocket Fold.  He described it as a “miracle at your finger tips,” and “world class landscape.” And if you are short on time Alan did suggest heading up Little Cottonwood Canyon!
