Episode 302 – 360 Square Feet

Standard

Good morning, good afternoon, and good day! This is Jeremy once again brining you our recap for this fun episode. We begin with an update from myself and Julia who just spent 10 glorious days in the ‘Lone Star State’ (that would be Texas for those millennials out there). We visited family; Julia gathered bones for her shop The Pleiadean Altar and we went on a wild hog hunt. Bre tuned out while we talked about the hunt, but needless to say we had a great time.

Chris’s mom came to visit. Bre and Chris went to the gun show on ‘Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, and finally got the pew, pew they have been talking about for a while now. Utah’s professional soccer team RSL had their season opener this last weekend. Due to the thunderstorm the game was delayed…promptly followed by a massive snowstorm.

Enough about us, the stars of this episode were Judy and Orfeo Kostrencich of The Latitude Groug Real Estate Team.

Judy was born and raised in Utah. She attended West High School and graduated from Weber (in Odgen). Judy was involved in the Healthcare industry for over 20 years but when she met Orfeo and came to realize he had his real-estate license and was working in the field part time…She knew she wanted to change careers and make real-estate into something bigger for both of them. Judy has always been a crusader for women’s rights and feels it’s important to help women find financial security. Real-estate is a good way to make that happen, and Judy talked to us about  some of the ways she helps women make that a reality.

Orfeo was born and raised in California (we won’t hold that against him). He migrated to Utah in the early 1990’s and since made it his home. He had always been interested in real-estate and had dabbled in it for years, mostly using it as a part time income and way to help friends and family. When he met Judy all of that changed! With some gently nudging from Judy, Orfeo took the leap and made real-estate his full-time passion.  Orfeo enjoys working with new people and getting to know each of his clients. When he takes on a project, he treats it as if it were his own home!

Together Judy and Orfeo have made The Latitude Group a successful real-estate company. Some of the things that set them apart are: Treating every listing like a million-dollar listing, professionally cleaning each home, staging each home, and properly advertising each home. They take the time to educate their clients and do whatever they can to make them feel like family. If you are in the market to buy or sale a home here in Salt Lake, feel free to check out this link and tell them you heard their story on The New Utah Podcast.
