Utah’s One Thing: Richie T. Steadman DJ, Actor, Podcaster, and RFH Producer,

Standard

At the end of every New Utah interview we like to ask our guests, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

We were super excited to finally be joined by the busiest man on the planet for episode 57. We actually didn’t think there was anyone busier than our own Jessica, til we met Richie Steadman! Richie had two things that people must do before leaving Utah. Richie said that if you’re visiting Utah, take time to talk to someone who is LDS (aka Mormon) because it will give a better understanding of the culture. He also said head south and hike the Narrows in Zion and the Delicate Arch.

Episode 57 Old Tales of Rick Steadman

Standard
*Updated** You can now find Richie on BYU Radio/SiriusXM with Lisa Valentine in the mornings.  He left X96 on his own terms for his new venture! You can still find him DJ’ing, on the Cultural Hall Podcast, and doing all his other side projects

This episode is full of all the feels. Feel your feelings people. Come on, you know you want to! Just for 15 minutes. That’s all we ask.
Richie T. Steadman, Rick Steadman, Dick Steadman… by any name he was still our guest this week. You may know him as the executive producer of Radio from Hell on X96 in Salt Lake. You may know him as an actor for many  years at the Desert Star Playhouse. You may know him because he has DJ’d your event. Maybe he delivered to you a singing telegram? You may know him because he is renovating his home and #thehomesteadman is a hashtag to follow. Or you may know him as a creator of the local Utah podcast, The Cultural Hall. However you know him, this interview will hopefully give you a little more insight than you normally get! Richie confirms the story that his brother, Jeffery, told on our show a couple weeks ago in episode 53 about losing his front teeth. He hates chocolate and fruit together. He had to get in touch with his feelings for 15 minutes… alone. He’s been in theatre MUCH longer than we knew and started with the coolest head-shots EVER. Richie T. is just an all-around good guy. Oh, and he isn’t a pumpkin-pie hair-cutted freak.

We think we need to see those Scotty Pippen shoes!
And please hire him for your upcoming events!
