Utah’s One Thing: Amanda and Chris Provost, Provost Park Pass

Standard

Since we started our show in 2016, we have been asking our guests at the end of every New Utah interview, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

We had the super spectacular couple that make up Provost Park Pass, Chris and Amanda Provost, join us for episode 145. We have asked Chris what his one thing would be before in episode 60, but we wanted to see if he would have the same answer. This time he switched it up on us! Chris told us the one thing that he would tell someone visiting Utah the must do before leaving is to visit Millcreek Canyon. He said spring and summer it is just an awesome place to go make a fire and have s’mores. *don’t forget to follow seasonal fire restrictions*

Amanda told us that her one thing she would have someone visiting Utah would be to 100% go to the mountains. Amanda said go snow-shoeing or hike. She said it just makes you grounded being in them.

Utah’s One Thing: Chris Provost Dad Joke Teller and Salt Lake Comic Con MC

Standard

At the end of every New Utah interview we like to ask our guests, “What is the one thing that you would tell someone visiting Utah they had to do before leaving?”

Episode 60 we had the honor of hosting the host of all hosts, Salt Lake Comic Con and dad joke teller, Chris Provost! Chris had a couple of things in mind when we asked him what the one thing he would tell people visiting Utah would be. First he said you have to try fry sauce. Fry sauce is a Utah staple! Sometimes it is just ketchup and mayo mixed together. Sometimes there might be a little pickle juice or spice added to it. Chris also said do donuts in the winter in an empty parking lot, and in the summer time go down “I Street” in the Avenues as fast as you can. He promises you will get some air. His final thing that someone must do while visiting Utah would be, is to visit Zion. He said seeing it for the first time will make you lose your breath.
